KK Crvena Zvezda: Kosarkaski Klub Crvena Zvezda is commonly referred to as KK Crvena Zvezda MTS for its sponsorship reasons. This team was established in 1945. The meaning of the name Crvena Zvezda means Red Star.

The Crvena Zvezda is together with Partizan Belgrade, Belgrade’s first basketball club. They achieved 15 league titles. Beginnings and dynasty (1940-1950):
